LiveTrans Terms of Service

Please read these Terms before using the LiveTrans website, desktop app, downloads, account features, subscriptions, and support services.

Using LiveTrans

You may use LiveTrans only in a lawful way and in compliance with these Terms. You are responsible for how you capture, transcribe, translate, store, export, and share audio or transcript content.

When using LiveTrans in meetings, interviews, classes, consultations, or other conversations, you are responsible for following applicable laws, participant notice or consent requirements, workplace policies, and platform rules.

Accounts and Subscriptions

Some features may require an account or paid subscription. You agree to provide accurate account information and keep your credentials secure.

Subscription pricing, usage limits, and plan features are shown on the pricing page or in the app. Paid subscriptions may renew automatically unless cancelled through the provided billing flow.

Transcripts and Output

LiveTrans output is generated by automated speech recognition and translation systems. It may contain errors, omissions, mistranslations, punctuation mistakes, or speaker attribution mistakes.

Review important transcripts before using them for decisions, publication, legal, medical, financial, compliance, or official recordkeeping purposes.

Privacy

Your use of LiveTrans is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains how account, usage, audio, and transcript-related data may be handled.

Acceptable Use

You may not use LiveTrans to:

  • Violate laws, privacy rights, intellectual property rights, or platform rules.
  • Secretly record or transcribe conversations where notice or consent is required.
  • Abuse, disrupt, reverse engineer, or attempt unauthorized access to the service.
  • Upload or share content that is unlawful, harmful, or infringes others’ rights.

Third-Party Services

LiveTrans may rely on third-party providers for hosting, analytics, authentication, payments, speech recognition, translation, downloads, and support. Third-party services may have their own terms and privacy policies.

Availability and Changes

We may change, suspend, or discontinue features, pricing, plans, or the service. We aim to keep LiveTrans reliable, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation.

Disclaimer

LiveTrans is provided “as is” and “as available” to the maximum extent permitted by law. We make no guarantee that transcription or translation output will be accurate, complete, suitable for a specific regulated use, or accepted by any third party.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, LiveTrans and its service providers are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, revenue, data, goodwill, or business opportunities.

Termination

We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms, misuse the service, or create risk for LiveTrans or other users.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of LiveTrans after changes become effective means you accept the updated Terms.
